Varieties of building fireproof glass

Fireproof glass is a kind of special glass that can meet the corresponding fire resistance function requirements under the specified fire resistance test conditions. Fire resistant glass can be divided into thermal insulation fire-resistant glass (Class A) and non thermal insulation fire-resistant glass (Class C) according to fire-resistant function. Heat insulating fireproof glass refers to fireproof glass that meets the requirements of fire integrity, fire resistance and heat insulation. Non insulated fireproof glass refers to the fireproof glass whose fire resistance function is only satisfied with the fire resistance integrity requirements. The new national standard cancels class B fireproof glass, that is, fireproof glass with satisfactory fire resistance function, fire integrity and thermal radiation strength.

Fireproof glass can be divided into monolithic fireproof glass and composite fireproof glass according to structure. Monolithic fireproof glass refers to the special glass composed of single-layer glass and meeting the corresponding fire resistance requirements. Single piece fire-resistant glass is only satisfactory fire integrity, which is classified as class C fire-resistant glass. There are various types of monolithic fireproof glass: high-strength monolithic fireproof glass, borosilicate glass, microcrystalline glass, aluminosilicate glass and wired glass.

Composite fireproof glass is a special glass composed of two or two layers of glass or one layer of glass and organic materials, which meets the corresponding fire-resistant function requirements. Composite fireproof glass can satisfy the fire integrity and fire insulation of class a fireproof glass, or class C fireproof glass can only satisfy the fire integrity. The varieties of composite fireproof glass are mainly organic grouting fireproof glass, inorganic sandwich composite fireproof glass and inorganic grouting fireproof glass.
