Selection of fireproof glass for building

Fireproof glass is a kind of special glass that can maintain its integrity and thermal insulation in the specified fire resistance test. It is divided into three categories according to the fire resistance function grade:

Class a fireproof glass meeting the requirements of fire integrity, fire resistance and heat insulation at the same time. It includes composite fire-proof glass and cast-in-place fire-proof glass. This kind of glass has the functions of light transmission, fire prevention (smoke, fire and heat radiation), sound insulation and impact resistance. It is suitable for the construction of decorative steel wood fire doors, windows, upper lighting, partition walls, daylighting roofs, smoke retaining vertical walls, perspective floors and other building components that need to be transparent and fire-proof.

Class B marine fireproof glass, including porthole fireproof glass and rectangular window fireproof glass. The outer surface glass plate is tempered safety glass, and the material type of inner and outer surface glass plate can be selected arbitrarily.

Class C single piece fireproof glass that only meets the fire integrity requirements. This kind of glass has the characteristics of light transmission, fire prevention, smoke separation and high strength. It is applicable to fireproof glass partition walls, fireproof windows, outdoor curtain walls, etc. without thermal insulation requirements.
