At 21:16 on December 2, 2019, the command center of Shenyang fire rescue detachment received an alarm that a fire broke out in Building 102, Sr new town, Hunnan district. The detachment estimated that 98 fire engines and 439 commanders and fighters were dispatched to the scene. After participating in the investigation at the top of the list, the scene was a fire on the 5th floor and above on the north side of block a, Building 102, Sr new town (the fire building is estimated to be 25 floors and 298 households). At 23:10, the fire was calmed down; At 23:30, other participating forces evacuated one after another, except for the brigade under the jurisdiction. There were no casualties at the scene, with a total of 284 loose people. The cause of the fire and industrial loss are under inquiry.

Firefighters have searched and searched layer by layer, and there are no casualties. The fire building has a total of 25 floors, and the fire site is the outer wall of the 5th floor and above. The staff of Hunnan District Emergency Management Bureau said that the external wall insulation of a window on the fifth floor was on fire. Because the fire passage nearest to the building was blocked by vehicles, the fire could not be controlled in the initial stage, and the flame rushed to the roof in six minutes.

In case of fire in high-rise buildings, it is difficult to escape and compensation. When a fire breaks out in a high-rise or super high-rise building, what if you are in a building and have a fire?

Top step: smoke-free and flexible escape

Contact the door lock before opening the door. If the temperature is not high and there is no smoke in the stairs, take a smoke mask or wet towel and escape down the stairs. Close the fire door when passing through the staircase. (in case of smoke extending upward during downward escape, it shall be as loose as possible to the room on the nearest floor, close the fire-proof glass door in the staircase, and retreat for assistance according to "key 2".)

When opening the door, first contact the door lock and escape downward with a smoke mask or wet towel

Step 2: smoke retreat for help

If the temperature of the door lock is very high or there is smoke when opening the door, you should step back and wait for help. Block the door crack with bed cloth and clothes, splash water to cool down and prevent smoke. Dial "119" to report the location, remove the window cloth at home, put it away from the window, and announce the distress signal in the balcony and other significant directions.

Step 3: calm down when there is smoke

If there are two stairs in your address building, you should escape down through another smokeless staircase; If there are unit stairs leading to the roof platform or outdoor corridor in your address building, you can escape from the loose stairs of adjacent units through these parts on the premise of ensuring that the exit is unblocked and there is no thick smoke. Wear a smoke mask or cover your mouth and nose with a wet towel during escape. If the passage has been closed by thick smoke, retreat and wait for help according to "key 2".

Remember: smoke is the top "killer" of fire. Avoiding smoke from invading the room and inhaling smoke is the "No. 2 magic weapon" for escape and self rescue.

Fireproof glass door is a kind of movable fireproof partition. It is particularly important to set fireproof glass door in high-rise buildings. Fireproof glass doors are closely related to our days. They have the effect of fire prevention and heat insulation in case of fire, make clear the favorable conditions for industry, users and rescue personnel, and reduce the loss caused by fire to the greatest extent.
